Hey there, I'm Shal

Marketer by day and a passionate painter by night (or more often, weekends). Ever since I was a kid, painting has been a big part of my life—a creative escape that also supports my mental well-being. When I’m creating, time slips away as I immerse myself in the process.

Lately, I’ve been drawing inspiration from my Indian heritage, exploring rich colours and mark-making techniques to bring depth and texture to my portraits. I’ve also started painting fruits and vegetables in my expressive, colourful style—bringing a vibrant twist to still life and celebrating the beauty in simple forms.

My work is bold and layered, telling stories through colour, texture, and emotion. Each piece is a blend of cultural roots and personal expression, created to connect on a deeper level.
